Haulover's Naturist Beach

Share: f 𝕏

Haulover Beach — officially part of Haulover Park — is Florida's most celebrated clothing-optional public beach and consistently ranks among the top naturist beaches in the world. Located at the northern tip of Haulover Park, tucked between Bal Harbour to the south and Sunny Isles Beach to the north, the clothing-optional section occupies the beach from lifeguard stands #12 to #15. With approximately 7,000 visitors on a typical day, Haulover is a genuine community — welcoming, body-positive, and relaxed, with a long-established etiquette that prioritizes respect above all.

Despite its reputation, Haulover is far more than its nudist designation. The broader park encompasses a marina, fishing pier, picnic areas, and a full stretch of clothed beach, making it one of Miami-Dade County's most complete outdoor recreation destinations. On the clothing-optional section, the vibe is laid-back and inclusive — couples, families, and solo visitors of all backgrounds come to enjoy the warm Atlantic waters, powdery sand, and the singular freedom that Haulover represents. Concessions, chair and umbrella rentals, and restroom facilities are available throughout the park.

Haulover is open daily from 8 AM to sunset. Entry requires a Miami-Dade County park fee or annual pass. Parking is available on the west side of Collins Avenue. Aggressive behavior and sexual acts are strictly prohibited and enforced — the beach's official status depends on respectful conduct from all visitors.
