Rowdy Bend Trail

Rowdy Bend Trail is a loop hike in Everglades National Park that winds through coastal prairie and buttonwood forest near Florida Bay. The trail's name suggests a wild character that the route delivers — the terrain here is open, exposed to coastal winds, and dotted with distinctive buttonwood trees draped in Spanish moss. This trail connects with the Snake Bight Trail and offers excellent birding opportunities, particularly for raptors, shorebirds, and wading birds that work the edges of the coastal prairie.
